If you're looking to take your next ski vacation in a unique small town that's as quaint as it eclectic and as beautiful as it is vibrant, look no further than Crested Butte. Located in southwest Colorado and tucked away in Elk Mountain Range, the town is a wonderful destination all year long. The ski resort, also known as Mount Crested Butte, is about three miles away from town and is well known for its steep terrain and the extreme friendliness of the locals. The resort's remote location also helps to ensure that lift lines are almost always short and quick-moving. During the summer, the town becomes a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with opportunities aplenty for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and much more.
